Yes, we are all happy to see the back end of winter! Adam especially is thrilled to be able to spend some time outside, this really has been a very wet winter. Our first few years here, we really thought people must be exaggerating about the rain, but it turns out they were not. Even the switch to daylight savings time was rather smooth.
What is new with us . . . we went out to our first movie as a family! It was Adam and Nathan's first time in a movie theater, and I think it went really well! It was a sensory friendly screening so we didn't have to worry about our kids causing a ruckus which was nice. I think we would try and go again sometime! Other than that, we haven't done a lot in the last several weeks. We are once again looking at potentially buying a house, which is of course such a fun process in this ridiculous market. We are actually considering new construction in North Rosehill, Kirkland, but have so many reservations about the whole thing. In this market, you can't just take your time to think about it because houses last on the market for a minute and then they're gone. It puts a lot of pressure on you to make up your mind quickly! We'll have to see what happens, there just isn't any kind of guarantee that the right house will come up for sale in our current neighborhood, and even if it does, there is absolutely no guarantee that we would get it. There are a lot of people looking and not a lot of houses. Anyway, we'll see what happens. Stressful times!
