Fall is definitely here! The mornings are cool and we've had a lot of rainy days, but I actually love Fall in the Pacific Northwest. This year is so much better than last year, with the kids being in school full time and life approaching pretty close to normal with sports etc, so I guess it just gives me an overall positive feeling:-).
Lynsey has been very busy with volleyball and she seems to be enjoying it! She is making some good friends on the team, and she never complains about going to practice - they practice 3 days a week, and play games two days a week. It's a big commitment, but she seems to like it so that's good. Nathan's LaCrosse is in full swing as well with his first game happening this Sunday. Adam is enjoying his horse riding lessons, doing much better with them than he did in the Spring. He is lasting a full hour - in the Spring, he was often done at the 20-30 minute mark. I'm not sure what has changed, but I love that he has this activity that he enjoys! He gives that horse the biggest hug when he gets there, I think the big velvety body just feels really good on his skin when he rubs it:-).
Brian and I went with friends to an axe throwing venue one night which was a lot of fun! It's always nice to get out and do things you wouldn't normally do, especially things that drive you out of your comfort zone just a little;-). This past Saturday, we got some family photos done - always a "joyful" day at the Kroeker house lol! This one passed by without a lot of drama actually! We got a sneak peak already and I am hopeful that we will have quite a few good ones! It is interesting how this day is starting to get easier. Our biggest issue is getting Adam to smile naturally. And getting Jasper to sit still:-/. I will post those pics once we get the whole package back.
Brian and I just got back from a little getaway to Chicago! That blog post is coming up after this one!
