Friday we went for a boat ride around the harbor, then went to tour the Notre Dame Basillica - wow! I've seen some old churches, but this one certainly looked about as spectacular as any I've seen. We had the most delicious dinner at Tres 400 Coups - highly recommend to anyone going to Montreal!! SUCH tasty food! We went back to the Jazz Festival that evening and stayed for quite a while, it was a lot of fun! There was a group beside us that was dancing a lot and the enthusiasm was quite contagious (not enough to get us dancing, though;)). Saturday we were off to airport in the early afternoon, back in Edmonton around dinner time. What an amazing getaway!! So glad we had the chance to go!

Getaway to Montreal!
On Wednesday, July 6th, Brian and I jetted off to Montreal for 4 days and 3 nights! What a great getaway, I loved Montreal immediately<3. We got there around dinner time on Wednesday and ate in the hotel lobby - it was delicious. We went for a walk down to the harbor afterwards and even got to see a fantastic fireworks display! The next day, wandered to the Museum of Contemporary Art and stumbled upon the International Jazz fesival - that was a cool discovery! We also went to a Cirque du Soliel show and it was so good, they do not disappoint! We walked around a lot, had dinner at a restaurant with live jazz music (a must for Brian:)). After dinner we went back to the Jazz fesival for a bit, it was a really fun atmosphere.
