Last Saturday night (21st) was a night to forget. We had family pictures booked for Sunday morning, and wouldn't you know Lynsey was sick all night the night before. She started throwing up around 10:30pm, and we had very little rest after that. For several hours, we were getting up every 20 minutes to change her sleeper and her bedding - it really was a nightmare. Luckily, we could reschedule our pictures for Thursday (it took me a few days to even feel human again!). The photo session went really well! My old friend from Langdon Drugs (Vicki) came out to our place and took some pictures in our house and at the park down the road. I will post some of them when we get them.
On Monday, we made a trip out to Stettler to visit with Mary and Dave and the kids. Lynsey really enjoyed her time with Ian and Ezra! The only bad thing was the weather, which was fine when I left Calgary so I had no idea what I was getting into! It started snowing around Red Deer, and it snowed most of the day. The snow had stopped by the evening, but the roads were very icy on the way back home. I drove very slowly and didn't have any problems, but it was not very relaxing.
Lynsey has been getting up at night the last few weeks. After not having to get up with her at night for sooo long, this has been a difficult adjustment. She just cries and doesn't calm down until one of us goes to her - sometimes she even walks to her door and waits there for us. I don't know what's causing this, but it has been a bit better the last week, so I'm hoping she's growing out of this little phase. Goodness knows I'll be getting up at night again soon enough!
